Are most Earth polar satellites launched to the South or to the North? I have purchased the absoft 9.2 Pro compiler, but it fails the numerical tests for the code I am using (abinit) in 32 bit mode. Somehow, it appears that the as binary executable has been corrupted on your system, to the point where even /usr/bin/as --version causes a bus error.
