I get "the connection is not stable" interface error -50. Hopefully Adobe will fix this in CS6 and release a fix for other versions too, but this has been an issue from the first Encore. Yet again making me sort of think that the MTU settings could actually be this issue. And it worked.

  1. Does this mean that DVD's on slower speed do actually work on Toast?Please let me know, I'll just look for an old stack of DVD's!

Until today. And of course leave the bonded heartbeat alone. This occurs after the cache is filled and burning starts for a few seconds, then error message and freeze. The second one was burnt even with the iSight connected to the second port of the burner (NOT to the computer directly).

I tried disabling the Iomega Zip extension that I found was still active (even though Zip was removed several years ago), but no difference - coasters continue.
