I have notuninstall/reinstalled the LAN client yet. Here's another question: If I push through updating my OS on the PC - where all but the contacts seem to have synced properly - and choose to NOT restore from I have to turn this off to get mine to sync with Outlook 2010. I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error https://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-OS-Smartphones/Intellisync-quot-connector-specific-error-quot-when-trying-to/td-p/420723
Also each time I run it I get 250+ error messages in the Windows 7 System event log. Correct me if I'm wrong, thanks. -neil- PS: Yes the 8830, with massive 64 MB of Program Memory, is in desperate need of upgrading to a new model. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. thanks for any help sferrari Last edited by sferrari; 08-17-10 at 11:03 AM.
I assigned about 100 pictures to contacts on Outlook and since the 2 sync, all the pictures showed up with the right contacts. Sadly, I am not getting past first base with my new Windows 7 Ultimate / Microsoft Office 2010 installation. I am sure the problem would also be solved by removing any birthdays prior to 1900 and leaving the birthday field empty. I don't like having to wade though everything that goes into messages to get to my emails. I don't have this problem with the calendar. Never had problems with syncs. http://wiiplay.net/intellisync-connector/intellisync-connector-error-blackberry.html ugh, i'm so frustrating.
After making that simple change, I have no problems syncing my blackberry contacts. i have tried all sorts of things... I downloaded Desktop Software version 6 and have not been able to sync since.
