Yeah man when I would try and add titled to the video it would crash. I tried many of the suggestions described here and in the other forums. Thanks to your advice I swapped out the opening titles which were 'Organic Main' title pages and the project now publishes as it should. If you are getting any kind of problem in opening the iMovie file on your Mac system then simply download and use a powerful Mac data recovery software.

  3. I deleted my Organic title and VOILA IT WORKED!!!
  4. Just change the title after it exports and everything worked out fine, even with pre-keyed footage!

Every single time I try to export my project to either 1080p or 720p using any of the 'share' options iMovie gives, it starts, takes a few minutes and suddenly quits, Once I want to export it as MPEG-4, it just keep crashing / closed unexpectedly. I have no idea why. I should say that my video is made up of bits and pieces of famous films taken from Youtube.

The Error -108 does say that there is not enogh space, but that is not allways the reason for the crash.

I now 67.13 gigs left after I got rid of all the duplicate tracks from itunes..holy hell was that alot of space. At this point I followed the instructions above about right clicking on the project name, and it worked!! More questions My imovie 11 project wont open? thank you!

Luckily I stumbled across it while googling - I removed the Organic title and the circle transition and - Ta Da! - my iMovie export went through fine! if i go 1 step back to the project libary i tried to right click my movie and select optimise media yet they both still gray, if i go to edit I even shut down the computer and restarted it. About ready to throw in the towel and buy Final Cut Express for Mac and start the project over. If you don't have "Organic Main" in your project and it still keeps crashing, try taking out the circle transitions if you have them.
